Essay on Pollution / Pollution a problem for youth

Introduction: In this age of science, where we have got some boons, we have also got the same curses and apart from this it is called historical or social change. This has a very bad effect on our young generation. Just as a pollution was born in the womb of science, there are some such pollution which has grown from the thinking of human beings.

Increasing pollution is one of the biggest problems of the present time, which is increasing rapidly in the modern and technologically advanced society. The environment or environment in which man has lived due to pollution is getting worse day by day.

Somewhere you have to bear extreme heat and somewhere very cold. Not only this, all living beings are also facing various types of diseases. Nature and its environment are pure, pure and health-promoting for all living beings by their nature, but if due to some reason it becomes polluted then it creates different types of problems for all the living beings present in the environment.

As human civilization is developing, the amount of pollution in the environment ...
... is increasing. Human activities and their lifestyle are largely responsible for increasing it.

Meaning of Pollution:- Pollution is the defect that arises in the natural balance due to the entry of contaminants into the environment. … Pollution means – ‘contamination of air, water, soil etc. with unwanted substances’, which has a direct adverse effect on living organisms and other indirect effects by damage to the ecosystem.

Types of Pollution: - There are many types of pollution, such as air pollution, water pollution, land pollution and noise pollution, these are the nature which arise due to creating imbalance on nature. Second is our cultural and daily activities pollution.

pollution affecting nature

types of environmental pollution

air pollution

Our youth are getting more chest due to the harmful air pollution that has an effect on the natural, they often stay out of the house. And the atmosphere in which the smoke of the existing factories and factories mixes in the air round the clock, those poisonous fumes come under the breath. Due to which we cause trouble in breathing. It has been learned from the news of Mumbai that when clothes are put on the roof and when they bring clothes, black ears get accumulated in those clothes, and similarly the ears go into the human lungs with breath. Our youth suffers the most from this air pollution because it is often taught to stay outside.

air pollution

Man has not only polluted the water, but has also polluted the air through his various activities and use of technological goods. The amount of all types of gases in the atmosphere is fixed. There is no particular change in the quantity of these gases when there is a balance in nature, but due to some reason, if the amount of gases changes, then there is air pollution.
The effect of air pollution is visible immediately as compared to other pollutants. If poisonous gas is dissolved in the air, then it shows its effect immediately and kills the nearby animals and humans. Bhopal gas incident is a direct example of this. With the development of different technologies, different modes of transport have also developed.

On the one hand, while new means of transport make the movement easy and convenient, on the other hand they play an important role in polluting the environment. Petrol and diesel are used as fuel in the means of transport used in cities. The smoke produced by burning of petrol and diesel pollutes the environment.

In the age of industrialization there is a lot of industries. Sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas are added to the atmosphere due to the smoke coming out of the chimneys of various small and big industries. These gases reach the earth with rain water and form sulfuric acid, which is harmful to the environment and its living beings.

The foul-smelling gases emitted from leather

The foul-smelling gases emitted from leather and soap making industries pollute the environment. In industries like cement, lime, minerals etc., excessive amount of dust flies and mixes in the air, which pollutes the air. By breathing in dusty mixed air, people working and living there often get high blood pressure, heart disease, respiratory diseases, eye diseases and TB. As the chances of getting the disease increase.

Due to the excessive increase in population, the living space of man is getting smaller day by day, so man is building a habitat for his living by deforestation. In cities, LPG and kerosene are used for cooking, which spread a kind of foul odor in the air.

Some people use wood or coal for firewood, which gives off excessive smoke and mixes into the air. Humans cut forests for space and fuel. Deforestation is reducing the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere and increasing the amount of carbon dioxide and polluting the air. Explosions, shelling, wars, etc., are done by human beings with the help of various types of technical equipment.

Due to explosion, excessive amount of dust particles get mixed in the atmosphere and pollute the air. Due to the use of gun and excessive firing, the foul smell of gunpowder spreads in the atmosphere. Presently humans use plastic items for their comfort and throw them here and there in case of breakage or tearing. Safai Karamcharis often burn plastic along with all kinds of garbage, which spreads foul smell in the atmosphere.

Conclusion

In order to make new technological experiments, many types of explosions are done and gases are tested. During this, many types of gas dissolve in the atmosphere and pollute it. Acid rain occurs due to excessive emission of harmful gases, which is fatal to humans as well as other living beings and agricultural activities.
