The Family Man Why You Should Watch This 7starhd Season
India's OTT scene has been booming since its unveiling, as exemplified by Sacred Games, Mirzapur and Housewives (2021). But most importantly, audiences have missed out on a good sequel to the first season of the Indian OTT series: after the second season of Sacred Games failed to impress audiences, Mirzapur was expected to raise the bar and match its thrilling developments. It failed to live up to fans' expectations and a barren period ensued. Subsequently, the 7starhd Hindi web series was considered a flash in the pan, too ambitious and not exciting enough for the long term.
The first season of Housewives will appear on Prime Video in 2019, and after watching it, viewer interest in the series on social media has only grown. It was originally announced that the next season would air on February 12, 2021, but due to the controversy surrounding Sandav, Amazon delayed its release until mid-summer in India. The second episode was finally aired on June 4, living up to its reputation as one of the few Indian series to achieve quality twice in a row. As fans celebrate the success of the series, here are six reasons why you should ...
... watch the second season of this flawless Raj and DK-led series.
Strong portrayal by Samantha Akkineni
One of South India's most successful and charismatic actresses, Samantha Akkineni made her debut in the second season of Housewives and gave a great performance. Her performance has never been properly tested, but her refined portrayal of the grey-haired Raja will set the standard for future female antagonists. She may be a bit rebellious, but she will be loved for the nuances of her excellent performance. Otherwise, she couldn't have been on this list ahead of legendary actor Manoj Bajpai. Watch out for Samantha's performance and her fierce display of skills.
The Intelligence of Manoj Bajpayee Aka Srikant Tiwari
The versatile Manoj Bajpai, a local native, will surprise you with his witty, energetic, deep, intense and sensitive performance. Manoj plays Srikanth Tiwari, an undercover agent who has to take care of his family, and he enthralls the audience in the best possible way. He is the main thread that binds all the characters together and drives the pace of this thrilling story; Srikanth not only switches roles but also portrays the hardships of family life thoroughly; Bajpai's effortless performance deserves innumerable applause; Manoj's performance as the man from the family is one of the best in the film.

A consistently convincing screenplay
The first season of the series left everyone in anticipation. From the very beginning, all the elements were in the right place at the right time. The humor, satire, breathtaking chases, and suspenseful moments were all on point. Will his successor continue his legacy or will he fail? Yes, that's right, the second season of Family Guy knocked that fate out of the park. Once all the threads come together and the story begins to unfold, there's no stopping the excitement and suspense in this primetime original series. There is no shortage of one-on-one battles, shootouts, thrilling hostage situations and finally the big game between the police and the rebels. You'll be glued to the screen until the final act.
Interpersonal relationships
The interpersonal relationships that are closely intertwined with the heart-warming storyline are always a joy to watch. Whether it's an argument between husband and wife, a conversation between siblings or a healthy dialogue with a friend or colleague, the makers of Raj and DK subtly show us the various relationships that are yet to form in the wake of Kovind's immense popularity. Emotionally, the series loses none of its intense themes. By the end of the season, you'll be clamouring for a sequel.
Local flavor
Movies and TV shows almost always try to show diversity and inclusivity, but they rarely succeed convincingly. That changes in the second season of Housewives, however. As the trailer promises, the story is set in Chennai, and is Chennai possible without Tamil Movies? Absolutely not. Usually, the local language never prevails and we are used to the dominant language being spoken by the majority of the audience in the first place.
That's not the case with this franchise. The originality has been preserved and the dialect has been adhered to in a relaxed manner. The dialogues are not distorted to suit the Hindi-speaking audience and the local flavour is retained.
Excellent supporting cast
It would be harsh and unfair not to mention the great performances of many actors who have contributed greatly to the success of this series. From the late Asif Basra to Priyamani and Sharib Hashmi, all of them are perfect in their roles. It never happens that the choice of actors is odd and even those who have their roles don't disappoint. The several minor characters of the show must have their own fans.
