We all know that drinking plenty of water every day can help the body grow and prevent disease. In fact, adequate hydration is essential for most bodily functions. Now, however, a product called BPA free alkaline water BPA free alkaline water is causing a surge, and advocates argue that it can balance your body's pH levels, boost energy, and prevent disease.

His theory: An acidic environment encourages bacterial growth, so changing your diet to a more alkaline (less acidic) diet will prevent harmful insects from entering. Unfortunately, this theory is not supported, as acids are often used to kill bacteria.

So what is alkaline water? And is it really any better than the boring water we've been drinking so far?

Alkaline water is water with a higher pH than tap water. Seven is pH neutral. The higher the pH level, the more BPA free water or alkaline it is.The lower the pH, the more acidic it is.Tap water has a pH of about 7 and alkaline water about 8 or9,”says Malina Malkani, nutritionist and spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. "Alkaline compounds ...
... are salts and metals that, when added to water, make it more basic.

Where does it come from?

Naturally alkaline water can occur when water collects minerals from areas such as streams as it passes through rocks in the environment. More common are companies that make alkaline water and sell it in grocery stores or online stores. Some brands specifically target alkaline water, such as Essential; others, such as Smart Water, offer certain alkaline products as part of a broader product line.

Alkaline water is touted to protect the body from toxins and improve overall health, as it is less acidic than tap water. It is believed to be beneficial for athletes because (in addition to hydrating regularly) it also thought to neutralize the buildup of lactic acid in the blood and aid in recovery.

Helps in Post-Workout Recovery:

“Lactate in the blood is believed to be harmful to the recovery of athletes because lactate is an acid that is thought to need to be neutralized,” explains Sweden. “But in recent years, sports nutrition and medicine have discovered the benefits of blood lactate and should not neutralize it.Blood lactate (also known as lactic acid) builds up in the blood after high intensity exercises, but they are eliminated naturally, especially if you are engaged in active recovery training.

Protects Against Toxins:

“Alkaline water has been shown to destroy disinfection by-products in tap water.Rosante explains by referring to the compounds formed when water is purified for public consumption. So, theoretically, water is alkaline and contains no potentially harmful compounds. However, other disinfection by-products have been shown to do well in alkaline environments. It is neither carved nor dry.

As for claims that alkaline water flushes out toxins from your body:

This is a function of the liver, and it does its job very well. Bone Health Benefits: BPA free water Bottled alkaline water with an alkalizing agent such as calcium or magnesium may have some bone health benefits, but not because of the ph. This benefit is due to the mineral content that helps maintain bone strength. The same can be said for mineral or spring water, which is alkaline because it accumulates minerals as it flows through the rocks. “However, if you are on a balanced diet, you may already be getting all the minerals you need,” Goldfarb says to SELF. He adds that the alkalinity of these minerals also helps prevent acid reflux. “For example, tampons are alkaline and therefore relieve indigestion. But if you drink alkaline water to fight indigestion, Rosante recommends finding out why you have indigestion and addressing the root cause, not just treating worsening symptoms. Aquaplus provides alkaline water in BPA free water bottled delivery in Sharjah.

Reducing acidity in the body:

First of all, it is important to understand that there is no universal pH in the body. Different parts have different levels of acidity for different reasons. For example, the pH of the blood of a healthy person is usually around 7.4, while gastric pH stays between 1.5 and 3.5, Hinton explains. “An acidic environment is important for the digestion of food, especially proteins,” he said. “Perhaps alkaline water can cause minimal changes in blood pH, but Nadia Sweden, MD, a physical medicine specialist from New York. However, there is no medical evidence to support these claims. ...
