The development of a fetus within the body of a female is called pregnancy. This process usually occurs in the female of the mammalian group of animals, including human beings. It consists of three trimesters; each trimester consists of three months.

1st Trimester – 1st 2nd 3rd
2nd Trimester – 4th, 5th, 6th
3rd Trimester – 7th 8th 9th

The entire biological process takes nine months to complete. Various physical, hormonal, and psychological changes occur in the woman's organs and tissues during pregnancy. Some of the crucial modifications are listed below:

PHYSICAL CHANGES:

Different changes in the body of females during pregnancy are very regular. Changes in blood volume, stroke volume, body shape of the female, and much more are very familiar. Some of the physical changes are as follows:

INCREASED BLOOD PRESSURE:

As a new life emerges within the body, increased blood pressure is noted during pregnancy. The reason is quite simple that your body is producing extra blood than a healthy person. To avoid high blood pressure, the expecting women must switch towards ...
... a diet that is helpful in blood formation. It is a possibility that the heart may increase in size to manage the workload.

EDEMA

Edema is the excess swelling of the human body. There are several reasons for edema, and one of them is pregnancy. But it is not observed in all the females. Nutrition deficiency and proper diet result in edema. If the edema becomes severe, the woman must immediately consult a gynecologist, as it can be harmful to the expecting female.

HORMONAL RELEASE:

The chief hormones produced throughout the pregnancy are estrogen and progestogen. The rapidly increasing level of progestogen causes the enlargement of various body organs, including the uterus. It also potentially affects the joints and bones of pregnant women.

Relaxing, a relieving hormone, is released from the endocrine system of the female. The hormone has a direct effect on renal functions. It provides muscle relaxation.

PHYSICAL CHANGES:

With physical and psychological changes, visible physical changes occur in the body. Emotional changes take place within the body. Mostly the mother is advised to stay calm and relaxed. Anxiety and depressive thoughts are very obvious signs of the prenatal period. Some of the major psychological modifications are listed below:

CYCLOTHYMIA:
FATIGUE:

The fluctuation of moods or mood swings is called cyclothymia. It is a prevalent sign that every female faces during pregnancy. These mood swings cause a severe change in the behavior in the body of the female. These mood swings occur due to the release of the following hormones:

Estrogen
Progestogen

Unusual fatigue is a familiar sign of pregnancy. It appears in the first trimester, where the woman feels tired and lazy. This sign appears in early pregnancy. Constant lack of energy and a feeling to sleep all day is an indication of normal pregnancy. It does not cause any harm to the mother or the developing fetus.

SOME UNUSUAL SIGNS OF PREGNANCY:

Every woman suffering from pregnancy experiences different symptoms and signs that point out towards the female's pregnancy. Some characters are common that are observed in almost every prenatal female. These signs include:

Nausea
Laziness
Constant Vomiting
Low Blood Pressure
Unconsciousness
Weakness

Apart from these signs, many of the females experience some strange pregnancy indications; these are as follows:

Nose Bleeding

It is common due to hormonal changes in the body.

Fatigue

Fatigue is the tired and extremely sleepy condition of the female during the pregnancy.

Congestion:

Some of the women face runny noses, a kind of harmless flu. It is commonly called Rhinitis.

Discharge

Constant discharge of a whitish or yellowish material is also a familiar sign almost in every expecting female. If, in any case, the liquid is not white or clear or causes redness around the pubis, then the woman must consult a doctor immediately.

Cravings:

Extreme food cravings indicate that the pregnancy is on a normal mode. These cravings are the majority for the food that tastes sour, tangy, and in some minor cases sweet.

But if a mother feels a condition to quit eating during the prenatal period, she must contact an expert as it can be hazardous for the fetus.

Unpleasant Taste:

There is an abnormal condition in which the mother complains to face the unpleasant taste, a metallic taste. It is not a reason to worry about.

FINAL WORDS:
