It’s been a year since the coronavirus outbreak, and still the situation is dire. We would never overlook the importance of following the safety recommendations from the WHO. However, after months of isolation, it’s understandable that you would want to step out and socialise. While takeaway Castle Hill is the safest option, it’s good to dine at the restaurants near Castle Hill to unwind. So, what can you do?

Essential rules to follow when dining at the restaurant or Castle Hill cafe:-

Call the Restaurant

Before deciding to dine out at the restaurant, call and inquire about the steps taken to address covid safety and ensure they follow the protocols. Ensure they are following the Centre for Disease Control guidelines on employee screening, sanitising the place, wearing masks, and keeping ill employees at home. Calling ahead can help minimise your standing in a queue and avoid the crowds.

Keep Your Distance

Follow the 6feet rule. Having a minimum of 6 feet between customers and tables between customers and table. Many restaurants have been permitted to operate if outdoor seating ...
... is provided. It’s a good idea to opt for dining out instead of indoors.

Consider Yourself and Others

Follow safety measures, like wearing a mask, social distancing etc., to protect yourself and others. The risk of transmission increases among people who are in close contact for a long period. So, please keep your distance and keep moving to reduce the exposure.

Do Not Share

Of course, sharing is caring. But, it’s not advisable right now, especially when you dine out at the restaurant. Sauces, salt and pepper shakes, pens, iPads, ketchup bottles and everything you touch at the restaurant can be a source of contracting the virus. Studies show that the virus can survive on different surfaces on plastic and stainless steel for up to 72hours. So, avoid using reusable items that might not be sanitised or cleaned prior to use. If possible, bring your own salt and pepper shaker or at least just give it a quick wipe with your sanitiser. Opt for cashless payment when and where ever possible.

To have the best possible dining experience in such a crisis, follow the restaurant and CDC guidelines and be patient and respectful. Let’s together stop the spreading and protect ourselves.
