Check Out The New Features On Twitter
Voice tweets were introduced on Twitter’s platform last year, allowing users to send messages using their voices. This allows you to publish tweets on Twitter without having to type the information in manually. You may also submit your text tweets as follow-ups to your original voice tweets after they have been posted. As a result, not only will the content experience for Twitter users be improved, but so will the content experience for their followers, who will be able to listen to tweets made on the site rather than simply reading them.
As individuals can submit updates on microblogging networks using their voices, voice tweets provide a personal touch to the experience. Since its debut in June of last year, voice tweets on Twitter have only been available to users of the iOS operating system. This implies that the Twitter for iOS app will only record and publish voice tweets, with no further functionality. However, in addition to iOS users, individuals using desktop computers, Android devices, and other platforms may listen to voice tweets that have been sent by iOS users.
Additionally, the business has just ...
... introduced the option of providing automatically produced transcripts. Follow these easy steps if you have the Twitter app loaded on your iPhone or iPad and want to make voice tweets.
Twitter Voice Tweets: What you need to know
Remember that you may record up to two minutes and twenty seconds for each personal voice tweet before moving on with the process of learning how to utilize voice tweets on Twitter. If your message is longer than the time limit, it will automatically be threaded with up to 25 other Tweets until it is finished.
Activate the Twitter application on your iPhone or iPad.
From the bottom right corner, choose the Tweet Compose symbol.
Now, click on the ‘Wavelength’ voice twitter button that is located above the keyboard to start recording. This will begin the process of recording your message.
When you’ve finished writing your message, press the ‘Tap’ button.
You may include follow-up tweets in your voice tweet in addition to the text. However, it is important to note that you are unable to send audio tweets using the Reply and Quote Tweet functionality at this time. The only way to record your voice tweets is to send them as original tweets. Twitter does not enable users to directly post audio files in the form of voice tweets to its site, as they can with other social media platforms.
Downvote Button
Users may now upvote and downvote tweets. The business claims the downvote will not be visible to the public. Likes will show as upvotes. Twitter is also testing the new functionality on iOS, so some users may see it. Tweeted
“Our sole goal is to learn what kind of responses you want to see in Conv so we can display more of them. Upvote and downvote are now user-visible. It’s private.”
Notably, only likes, comments, and retweets are accessible to all Twitter users. Twitter also said that the functionality is currently under testing and has not been fully rolled out yet. It’s not a dislike button, Twitter says.
The downvote and upvote buttons are there on Reddit and Quora. Neither Facebook nor Instagram has considered introducing dislike buttons. While YouTube’s dislike button is accessible to everyone, Twitter’s downvote button is hidden.
Voice Transformation Feature for Spaces
Developer Steve Moser discovered that the Voice Transformer function provides users with various voice effects, which will be accessible in Twitter spaces.
Before applying an effect, users will be able to hear their voices.
B, cartoon, helium, incognito, karaoke, microphone, phone, special, stadium, and stage are some of the voice effects available. It’s unclear which of these features will be included in the platform after it’s released to the public.
Automated Caption Feature for iPhone users
After a long wait, Twitter has finally made the automated captions feature available for voice tweets. Since last year, the business has allowed users to tweet voice, allowing them to post a sound clip in the same way they would a tweet.
Users had no choice but to listen to voice tweets via speaker till now. With the automatic captions function, voice tweets may be read on the screen without playing audio.
