Inbound And Outbound Marketing Strategies
Marketing is an essential part of your business, but you already know that. So what’s new? Did you know there are different marketing styles? Yeah, I know it sounds complicated and marketing is as it is complicated. But don’t let the complications stop you from growing. We will help you and your business to navigate easily through the sea of marketing and competition and reach the desired heights.
There are many types of marketing strategies. Like inbound, outbound, traditional, digital, content marketing, etc. I have already talked about most of these marketing strategies in my previous blogs (you can read other blogs on our website). Today, I’m here to share some information about inbound and outbound marketing.
First, let’s know what these two terms mean.
Inbound marketing
Inbound marketing is a marketing strategy which helps to pull potential customers towards your brand. It is simply a pull marketing strategy. Now what is pull marketing? Pull marketing is a strategy which is used to attract potential customers through different mediums. Mediums like content, SEO, blogs, events, opt-in ...
... email marketing and more.
Pull marketing or inbound marketing basically focuses on getting leads and potential customers without investment. Inbound marketing spreads awareness about your brand and increases your visibility. Your ads only appear to people when they search for related products and services online. Thus, the customers reach out to you, not the other way around.
Outbound marketing
Outbound marketing is a kind of marketing where you reach out to your customers, also known as push marketing. Where you initiate emails and messages to customers. Email spam is one of the common practices of outbound marketing. Outbound marketing is like traditional marketing, where you send out magazines and TV ad commercials to your audience so that they can reach you.
Outbound marketing is quite the opposite of inbound marketing. Inbound marketing is more online and outbound marketing is more traditional.
Let’s look at some of the essential differences between the two
Inbound marketing
Direct connection with the audience.
Can easily listen and answer problems.
Increases engagement since everything today is online.
You can see inbound marketing mostly on websites, blogs, SEO, social media, etc.
Only attracts an interested audience.
Fewer chances of blocking and being considered as spam.
Outbound marketing
No direct interaction with the audience.
High costing, low yields.
Tracking people who are interested in your niche is difficult.
Can’t promote to the fullest.
High chances of being blocked and considered as spam.
