Turn off Windows Search

To turn off Windows search, pursue these on-screen instructions mentioned below:

Once you get a UAC (User Account Control) pop-up, hit the Yes button.

Remove the Leftover Registry Keys

To remove the leftover registry keys, pursue these on-screen instructions mentioned below:

To open the File Explorer, use the Win and E buttons simultaneously on the keyboard.
Then go to the C:\Users folder and click on it.
Then, find the folder named once the folder you would like to get rid of.
Once you get it, right-click on the right folder and hit the Delete button via the context menu.
Open the Run prompt by using Win and R keys altogether on your keyboard.
Then insert ‘regedit’ into it and hit the OK button to bring up the Registry Editor screen.
You will get a UAC (User Account Control) pop-up and then click on the Yes button.
After that, utilize the left pane menu to enter the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
Beneath the ProfileList section, you will see the keys series-parallel to a Windows Profile. The job is to enter each entry and look at the ‘ProfileImagePath’ data related to it.
10.After managing to detect the right ProfileList key that includes remnants of profile data, right-click on it, then pick the Delete button.

11.Now, reboot the system.

Once it opens, insert ‘sysdm.cpl’ in it and hit the OK button.
After launching the ‘System Properties’ window, select the ‘Advanced’ tab, then choose the Settings option related to the User Profiles.
After getting UAC (User Account Control) pop-up, press the Yes button.
Go to the User Profiles menu, choose the ‘Account Unknown‘ profile, and then hit the Delete button.
Finally, reboot the system and check the issue.
