Windows 10 Can’t Map Network Drive: Here Are The Fixes

Update the 20H2 Version

To update the 20H2 version, follow these on-screen directions given below:

Then hit the ‘Update & Security’ option.

Then choose the ‘Exclude credential providers’ option and reach the left-hand side, pick the ‘policy settings’ option.
Later, select the Enabled circle icon and then hit the Apply button.
Now, hit the OK button and reboot the system.
Utilize a Batch File

To utilize a batch file, follow these on-screen directions given below:

Go to the Notepad and launch it on your device.
After that, copy and paste the pursuing lines in the launched Notepad screen:
Ø timeout /t 30
Ø net use z: “\\network name\shared folder” /persistent:no
Later store the file as mapdrive.bat.
Thereafter, open the Run accessory by pressing the Win and R keys at once on the keyboard.
Now, insert ‘shell:startup’ into it and hit the Enter key.
After launching the Startup folder, input the batch file mapdrive.bat or its shortcut into it.
Utilize Credential Manager

To utilize credential manager, follow these on-screen directions given below:

Launch the Control Panel on the system.
After that, select the User Accounts option.
Then click on the ‘Manage your credentials’ option.
You should hit the ‘Windows Credentials’ option.
Thereafter, extend the ‘Windows Credentials’ option beside the network computer name.
Later, hit the Remove button in sort to remove the sorted details from the specific system or share.
Hit the Yes button once you are requested whether you are sure you would like to remove these Windows details permanently.
Now, shut the Credential screen and launch the This PC icon.
Then, right-click on your mapped drive and choose the Disconnect option.
10.Finally, reboot the system and map the network drive once again.
