In 2001, an innovative and passionate Australian electrician introduced the cable Ferret NZ to the market. The primary aim of The Ferret was to provide a safe and straightforward alternative to cable feeding. We designed this equipment with a stand-alone worker in mind. While some imitations have been introduced to the market, The Ferret’s level of structural integrity and flexibility is what sets it apart. Some of the qualities that come with The Ferret include its ability to maintain direction, tensile strength, glide over obstacles, with the balance of rigidity and flexibility that helps to retain its original shape.

The Ferret has several industrial and home applications, including electric wiring, security system cables, telephone wiring and TV antennas, among others. Our application process is also simple so that even an untrained homeowner can follow. After creating an entry point, you only have to tie your cable to the Ferret’s tail and insert the wheeled head into the entry point. Guide the wheeled head to the intended direction until it reaches the exit opening.
