Now, warm up might not necessarily contribute towards burning the calories effectively, but it certainly does help in building muscles as it helps in getting your body be all geared up for the heavy exercise and workout that you are about to do. Warming up helps in loosening up the ligaments and also some joints so that it just adds on to the exercise that you are about to do.
