How To Delete Outlook Duplicates?
The occurrence of duplicate items in MS Outlook is quite common. Often Duplicate email items in MS Outlook occur due to restoration of Public folders from backups, synchronization with PC PDAs, BlackBerry, incorrect Outlook rules and other such situations. When you important items from MS Office Outlook and add the contact as a duplicate or if the duplicate detection option is turned off, then there is no option to remove duplicate items after you perform the import. Delete Outlook Duplicate Items from Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007
1.In MS Outlook 2007 as well as MS Outlook 2002, go to View menu and point to Current View. Now click the change the folder view to table type view. In MS Outlook 2003, point to Arrange By option in the View Menu, Point to Current View and select to change the folder view to a table type View. For example, use the following view and field combinations:

2.Right-click the column heading and select the Field Chooser
3.Right from the list at the top of the Field Choose, click to select the All fields
4.Drag the Modified field to the table heading
5.Now confirm that the duplicate items have a unique date from the original set of items. If the date is unique, select the Modified heading so that the items are sorted by this field.
6.Select the first item in the set that you wish to delete, go down to the last item in the set that you wanted to delete and then click the last item while you hold down the SHIFT key
7.Press DELETE key to permanently delete all selected items
Delete Outlook Duplicate Items from Outlook 2010
In order to delete outlook duplicate items from MS Outlook 2010, follow the instructions given below:
1.Select the folder for which you wish to delete duplicate items
2.Click the View tab in the Ribbon, click Change View in the Ribbon and then select to change the folder view to a table type view. For example, click the List icon
3.Right-click the column heading and select Field Chooser
4.From the list located at the top of Field Chooser, select the All field
5.Drag the Modified Field to the table heading
6.Now confirm that the duplicate items have a unique date from the original set of items. If the date is unique, select the Modified heading so that the items are sorted by this field.
7.Select the first item in the set that you wish to delete, go down to the last item in the set that you wanted to delete and then click the last item while you hold down the SHIFT key
8.Now press DELETE key on the keyboard to permanently delete all selected items
