Intestinal Parasites Or Worms Symptoms, Causes And Natural Remedies
Intestinal parasites or worms which infest human beings are found in all parts of the world. They are widely prevalent during the rainy season and are mostly common in tropical and subtropical areas. Usually children often get infested with intestinal worms than adults.
Some of the important symptoms of worms -
1. Due to round worms there is an inflammation of the intestine and lungs, loss of weight, fever, nervousness, irritability, nausea and vomiting.
2. Diarrhea is the main symptom of worms. Some other symptoms are dark circles under the eyes, constant desire for food, anaemia, headaches, foul breath and restlessness at night with bad dreams.
3. There may be intense itching in the area around the rectum. Due to presence of hook worms the person may suffer from anaemia and nutritional disorders. The eggs of these parasites are entered into the human body through the medium of water and food.

1. Carrots are of great importance in the treatment of worms especially thread worms. If a small cup of grated carrot is taken every morning then it is very effective for the treatment of worms. It should be taken all alone not with the combination of any meal.
2. Garlic has many medicinal properties. It has been used from ancient times by the Romans, Indians, Greeks, Chinese for expelling the intestinal worms. Even modern medical practitioner uses it for the same purpose. Oil of garlic as well as fresh garlic both is effective. Person who can chew raw garlic must take at least three cloves of garlic a day in every morning.
3. Coconut is also very effective in the treatment of worms like other natural remedies. It is beneficial and as well as effective. From ancient times it has been used for expelling the worms. You can take a table spoon of freshly ground coconut at breakfast. It is to be followed by 30-60 ml of castor oil mixed with 250-375 ml of lukewarm milk after three hours. This process is to be repeated until cure is completed.
