While embryo freezing is suggested for those women who are sure about their partner. In this, an egg is retrieved, fertilized with partner’s sperm, and then freeze.
Procedure: First, ovaries are stimulated using various hormones. After two weeks of stimulation, mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries using the ultrasound needle. Then, eggs or embryos are freeze at the -196ºC temperature either by slow freezing or verification (rapid freezing to avoid crystallization of cell). Finally, it is stored in liquid nitrogen.
