People hire fishing guides for several reasons, but they all need the same thing, a good day on the water. Unfortunately, a few days end with neither the guide nor the client feeling all that great about it. Fortunately, these events can be easily avoided. Keeping that in mind, here is a list of things you should not do at White River fly fishing.

1-Too Much of False Casting

False casting is probably the coolest & most scenic thing about fly fishing. However, you can only false cast for a maximum of 2 or 3 times. Any more than that, & you are only trying to show off. Moreover, false casting increases the risk of tangles & wind knots.

2-Casting Too Fast

In most cases, people don’t give enough time for their line to correctly load. In short, the timing between their backcast& their forward cast is too fast. And when that occurs, you will either have a bad tangle, or your line will be piling up on the water about 3 feet in front of you.

If you wish to be a good caster, you must practice &, at cost, avoid casting too quickly.

3-Don't ...
... Rock Your Boat

Literally, do not rock the boat. Shifting your weight around makes it tough & it is hard to row a moving boat pitched to one side. Therefore, it's recommended to distribute the weight evenly.

4-Not Being Stealthy

Fish do not take kindly to loud, loathsome behavior. So, if you wish to catch more fish at White River fly fishing, you must learn to be stealthy.

Particularly, you must avoid casting your shadow above the water, wearing bright colors, approaching fly fishing locations from upstream, & thrashing thru the water.

5-Not Checking Your Rig

While you’re fly fishing, you must continuously check your rig for mud, moss, knots, tangles, or anything else that can keep the rig from looking like the delicious treat it is. Fish do not eat small mud beads floating down a river, so do not try & serve that to them.

Conclusion:
If you wish to up your fly-fishing game, you need to avoid these common mistakes. However, I hope the list provided here will help you in some way and help you grab the best catch of the day!
