It's not uncommon to hear of a couple eloping to get married. This may mean running off to Las Vegas and coming home married to secretly getting married at the local courthouse. Eloping is not uncommon these days, it's not considered taboo, and is away a couple gets married without the hassle and fuss of a big wedding day. Eloping can make the celebration fun, exciting, and more affordable.

Eloping is when you get married secretly, without telling anyone, including your friends and family. Elopement means you do away with a formal wedding and elope for your ceremony. Some couples still have a reception/celebration when they return home.
