The only issue is that the neighbours that live around you can hear every note specifically if you live in a small community where the houses are near together. This may be troublesome to the neighbours who like to take some time in the afternoon simultaneously that you are practicing the instrument or having a lesson. You can keep them dense or low or allow them to grow tall, providing at the area that you want to cover. Other good options are tropical plants like bamboo or palm plants that can be left out throughout the year.
