Food-themed Parties You’ve Got To Have For Your Kids!
We’ve taken our kids to probably a countless number of birthday parties or any get-togethers. Surely the themes are great and fun at first, but let’s be honest - the star of every party is always the food. We worry more about the decorations or the kids party venues, whereas the food isn’t prioritised, which is quite frankly unacceptable. Let the party revolve around food and make it a lot more enjoyable, plus the kids get to fill up their stomachs on some delicious munchies.
A Freezy Icecream Party
Who doesn’t love a chilly cup of ice cream? Better yet if served in a waffle cone! Especially during the summer, ice cream seems like the perfect dish to theme your parties around. You could play around with the flavours and various toppings as well. A little game could create the fanciest sundae, where the kids could make their ice cream bowls with the open selection of toppings and scoops around. Make sure you have some outdoor games planned as well with balloons, a small swimming pool and a sprinkler. They are great for keeping the kids occupied while everyone takes turns to monitor the ice creams and keep ...
... an eye on the ones who’re being sneaky. And also ensure you take a lot of pictures.
A Cheesy Pizza Party
Remember that question I asked for ice cream. Yeah well, the same could be said for pizzas. A universal favourite for every kid out there. Grab your slices from one of the best pizza places in Mumbai, or better yet, make some of your own with an outdoor oven and toppings at the go -- and you have just organized your perfect kids pizza party. Just make sure you’ve got enough for the parents as well, as those cheesy and saucy flavours just hit it out of the park for everyone.
A Sugar Rush
This one’s a bit of a gamble, but if done right - it’ll be a day to remember for your kids. Create candyland for the kids. A little bit like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory - filled with sweets and chocolates. It’s sure to cause a sugar rush on every single one of the little cubs running around, but it’ll be heaven on earth for them. Make sure you also have some healthy snacks available so sugar overload is kept to a minimum.
A Princess Tea-Party
This one’s for the little girls who’d love to be Disney princesses, as they all would love dressing up and pretending to be just like them! Remind everyone to bring similar "dress up" clothes for the tea party -- boas, high heels, jewellery, hats, and gloves--and have some extra items on hand for anyone to borrow. The next thing you got to do is plan a tea party menu the girls can help prepare, including cute little sandwiches and any drink for tea. Before you all dip into the prepared food, let the guests get dressed up. You can even make it a fun learning experience by teaching them how to: use a napkin properly, holding a teacup, and sitting upright. They'll love it!
