Whatever your preferences are, either foodie, or a nature lover, or a historic nerd, passionate monument lover, wildlife addict, no matter what, there are places all over the world that will take your breath away, the earth is filled with a lot of surprises that are so majestic, and only a lifetime, one single life won’t be enough to visit them all, there are so much here in the world that is so beautiful and looks like a piece of one’s dream, so here is our list of some of the most beautiful places in the world –

NORTHERN LIGHTS

One of my favorites (and it is on top of my personal list also), an amazing natural phenomenon that takes place during winter in Iceland, Iceland is among the top three most beautiful places in the world, and the Northern lights are the beauty of nature at its peak, the phenomenon appears because of the interaction of the upper atmosphere of the earth with the sun near the north pole. The phenomenon is an experience that will make you think about the most amazing things that you are missing in life (as well as me).

RAINBOW MOUNTAINS

And what else one can expect!! There ...
... are mountains that are in rainbow coloring, earth’s own natural color palette, located in china, mountains look like a painting, these Rainbow Mountains are among one of the most beautiful geographical places in the world. The Rainbow Mountains are located within the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park and in 2009, it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

AMAZON RAINFOREST

Also called “the green lung of the earth” the Amazon Rainforest is the most impressive and notable rainforest of the world.

PYRAMIDS OF GIZA

For the history lovers out there, this is the place you always dreamt of, located in Egypt, filled with the history of Pharaohs, with a total of 6 pieces, the pyramids of Giza are among the oldest buildings of the world.

GRAND CANYON

The grand canyon, situated in the USA, is 277 miles long with no less than 18 miles of width and 1.5 miles of depth, it is truly a wonder of the nature that you can explore via various ways that include a boat ride across the Colorado River, all the nature lovers out there, the sight of this canyon will feel like a dream for sure.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

If you are a wildlife enthusiast, the Galapagos Islands, a UNESCO world heritage site, is the most beautiful destination for you, situated some 1,000 kilometers from the South American Continent in The pacific ocean, the Galapagos islands present biodiversity in a unique way with an isolated group of volcanic islands that creates a fragile ecosystem.

MENDENHALL ICE CAVES, JUNEAU

Partial hollow glaciers with sparkling blue ceilings the Mendenhall Ice Caves looks like a scene of some fantasy land of fictional movie or book, trekking on the glacier with ice caves at your side, this unique phenomenon will give you a chilly adrenaline rush and memories for a lifetime.

LAKE HILLIER AKA THE PINK LAKE

One of the most beautiful lakes in the world, lake hillier also known as the pink lake, because of its bubblegum pink color that happens because of Dunaliella salina – a species of halophilic microalgae, the lake is in Australia (for the person who wants everything in pink….here is your order of a pink lake, Delivered in Australia by nature).

LAKE LOUISE

Located in Banff national park, Canada, Lake Louise is a beautiful place that will enchant you, the lake will make you fond of it by its magnificent waters as its beauty changes with every season, in winters it will hypnotize you with its snowy beauty, with the arrival of spring, the lake gives cheerful vibes with lush full green scenarios. HA LONG BAY

Located in Vietnam, filled with floating villages, amazing limestone formations, some hidden beaches, and multiple caves, the Ha Long Bay is a place that without any doubt deserves to be a notable mention in the list of the most beautiful places in the world.

MACHU PICCHU

A mysterious ancient destination, located in Peru, the Machu Picchu is a primeval city that dates back to the 15th century, the city is formed of stones at the top of the Andes Mountains in Peru. For all the history and mystery and adventure lovers out there, it is a destination of dreams.

SALAR DE UYUNI

The largest salt flats of the world, situated in Bolivia, is a heaven for photography and traveling enthusiasts as the white space features nothing but the mesmerizing beauty of the flats, and if it rains there, you can witness the illusion of a mirror on the surface of the lake as it reflects the gorgeous blue sky.

GRAND PRISMATIC SPRING

A famous and well-known tourist attraction, situated in Yellowstone national park in the USA, the prismatic spring is the site of vibrant orange, red and yellow rings formed around an aquamarine that attracts travelers and photographers from all around the world (that person who asked for a colorful vibrant spring, its delivered in the USA by nature).

WULINGYUAN SCENIC AREA

Located within the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China, the scenery was the inspiration of James Cameron’s Avatar, and why shouldn’t it, the place looks like a creation done by some alien forces or fairy magical creatures, the place is so beautiful with slender mountains of sandstones, with greenery on top of it that shelters some indigenous animal species, the place also has some small streams, it is a popular destination for nature lovers and photographers as well as for adventure seekers.
