Apple Watch Se - Review

Apple Watch SE is an affordable smartwatch loaded with a bunch of useful features and specs. The watch is great in terms of performance, design, price, and battery life. However, let’s take a detailed overview of the device and then decide whether one should buy it or not. Here we go!
Design
Apple Watch SE is quite similar to Watch Series 6. It features a slim-bezel display and has a square-shaped design. It has a black ceramic crystal back with a built-in heart rate sensor that you can enable anytime to track your heart rate. Besides that, it boasts a digital crown on the side for navigation and a button that you can use to bring frequently used apps, confirm Apple Pay purchases, access emergency services, and more. Additionally, you get 32GB of storage for apps and music, support for WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, an always-on altimeter, and an option to set up a GPS + 4G model.
The watch has a very traditional on/off display, and the company is selling it in two different sizes, 40mm and 44mm, so that people with different wrist sizes can easily wear this watch.
Battery Life
The battery ...
... of the watch can last up to 18 hours on a single charge. If you compare Apple Watch SE’s battery life to the Watch Series 6, you will find that SE has better battery performance.
Features
In terms of features, the Watch SE offers you a Retina display with an always-on option, an Apple S5 chipset, various sensors to track your health and fitness, messages or email notifications, and support for Apple Pay. Additionally, this watch runs WearOS7 and can be used underwater to up to 50 meters. The watch boasts a second-generation optical heart sensor that calculates heart-rate, calorie-burnt, activity level, etc.
It even has a built-in accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope. The built-in sleep tracking sensor works very nicely and gives you accurate information about how long you sleep and more. But it doesn’t have ECG and Blood Oxygen features; these are the downsides of this watch. However, in this price range, this watch offers a great many features.
Conclusion
The design, specs, and features of the watch are remarkable. The company put great effort into making this smartwatch. Besides lacking ECG and Blood Oxygen tracking features, I don’t see any significant issue on the watch. So if you are okay without these two tools, I will suggest you go for this watch. Otherwise, you can go for other options. That’s all I had to share about Apple Watch SE. I hope the information given above will be helpful to you. Thank you for reading the article. Have a nice day!
