People know Aciclovir by the name of Acyclovir, which is an antiviral medicine. You can use Acyclovir for treating infections that are caused due to herpes virus. These infections include cold sores and genital herpes. Usually, doctors recommend Acyclovir to prevent infections, specifically when you previously suffered from it.
