Keep it like this for few minutes and then remove it. Place the ice pack again for sometime time and then again remove it. Repeat this process for 5-6 times, twice daily. The coolness of the ice will help to control the inflammation and burning sensation of the pain. When you try this remedy you will notice that the pain has gone down, even if temporarily. When you do this thing for few months, you will notice a permanent decrease in the pain.
If you are not comfortable with putting an ice pack over the heel pain then get two buckets. Fill one with cold water and the other with hot water. Soak your feet first in the hot water and then in the cold water. You should do this in an alternate fashion to bring down the swelling of the feet and the inflammation.
Search for night splinters in the market. It is easily available. You can also purchase it from an online store. Every night before going to sleep, wear the night splinter. This will help to stretch the foot so that the foot relaxes and the pain reduces. The night splinter is really very effective. You should try it.

You should look for ways where your feet are not uncomfortable. And soon you will notice the difference.
