Unjustified Firing At Cracker Barrel Troutville, Va

The thoughtless Manager from Cracker Barrel, Troutville, VA location. The general manager, John is the perpetrator for an unjustified firing for having money in a busser hand. It didn't go into his pocket and this employee had never been in trouble for the 3 years that he worked for this company. Actually the General Manager, John called this same employee back to work after the employee left to go to work at another company and that is how good the employee was. The money that the employee had in his hand was in fact a tip from off a table.
The employee picked up the money to only sanitize the tables due to Covid-19 specifications. So I guess in their policy it states for a “busser” that they can't pick up the money to clean. So How do you really know that the tables are really clean? This policy should have been changed or altered in some way for Covid-19. Now I'm not saying that they are not a good company to work for or have delicious foods but they don't seem to respect employees enough to give them a second chance.

... yes, in fact that this employee did have the money in his hand but it never gone into his pocket. So the fact in the matter is that the general manager, John couldn't have known that is employee was stealing because the money had never left his hand. For this employee it was an unjustified firing just because he was sanitizing the tables to help prevent guests from getting Covid-19. The mistake that this employee made was the cost of his job and the reputation of his good name. It goes by saying that when a general manager brings back a dedicated hard worker because he couldn't find a suitable replace for that employee it makes you wonder how unfair this firing actually was.
