Using Recovery Software After Windows Gets Accidentally Reinstalled

Microsoft offers an array of operating systems and Microsoft Windows Vista is an extensively used Windows operating system, designed and produced by Microsoft Corporation. Windows Vista is available in numerous versions, to be used on desktops, laptops; media center PCs and tablets PCs. It offers so many advantages over its ancestor versions of Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
The operating system comprises of highly developed security features and feature rich graphical user interface. But there are some situations, when Vista starts acting strangely and works unexpectedly. In such cases, you might feel the need to reinstall Windows Vista to fix this issue. But when you reinstall Vista accidentally on wrong partition, you come across a serious data loss situation. At this point in time, you need to have an effective and advanced recovery software to recover lost or damaged partitions.
Mentioned below are some situations when you might reinstall Windows Vista:
1. When you want to replace the current operating system, which is either damaged or is not fulfilling your requirements.
2. You want to ...
... install Microsoft Windows Vista on a different hard disk partition to configure it as a dual boot computer.
3. You want to restore default factory settings of Microsoft Windows.
4. You are using the Windows Vista boot disk to resolve some startup or boot issues with Vista and accidentally selected to reinstall the operating system.
Accidental reinstallation of Windows Vista on a wrong partition might just increase you problems and you might soon enter in middle of nowhere if you don't have a valid backup of the data saved on the partitions. Reinstallation of Windows Vista might just format your important hard drive partition, which ultimately removes all the existing data from the partition and result in serious data loss scenario.
Well, if you come across such situation, don't panic as the stored data in your hard disk drive is not permanently deleted from your hard drive even after formatting. The data in the partition is still preserved on the drive until it gets overwritten by other data. When a partition gets formatted or deleted, only the partition table entry of that partition gets removed. The partition remains physically preserved and therefore it can be easily recovered in most of the cases.
In this case if you have a recent valid backup, then you can restore all the data in it to newly created partition of Windows Vista. However, if a valid backup is absent or if the backup copy has gone corrupt, then use recovery software to extract lost partition and data it contains. These recovery software applications make used of advanced scanning algorithms to scan the entire hard disk drive methodically and extract lost partitions from it.
