Coal Tar Epoxy Coating is a bituminous, two-component polyamide-epoxy. It is a black surface protection polymer used on surfaces which are in extremely corrosive environments. It is designed for applications to petroleum contaminated concrete, coating asphalt based surfaces, clean concrete, cement, and properly prepared steel. This type of coat can be applied in 18 Mills one-coat application which should not cause any harm to the advertiser in any way. This coat generally shows excellent weather and resistance to salt to decompose freshwater for steel and concrete.
It is highly recommended to use coal-tar epoxy coats in various industries for large scale steel or concrete structures.
Properties of Coal tar epoxy coating:

• It has low water vapour permeability, high electrolyte resistance and good antibacterial properties. Also it shows excellent weathering and resistance to salt and fresh water degradation for steel and concrete. Coal tar coatings are high dielectric resistance, low permeability to moisture, good anti-fouling properties and they are resistant to barnacles.
