There is nothing more satisfying than cute anime girls doing cute things. Isn't it? But Nana of Munou na Nana is on the opposite side of the poll. In just five episodes, she has murdered almost every ability user in the ability user school, and to keep her secret hidden, she is willing to kill more.

Don't be fooled by her cute and innocent looks. Nana has killed more than five students in less than a week, and her killing spree doesn't seem to stop at any point. After arriving at the deserted school, Nana kills Nanao, and later she kills all the strong ability users while maintaining her facade of being a regular ability user.

After brainwashing Yuuka Sasaki and deciphering her relationship with Shinji Kazama, Nana kills her by throwing her off the cliff. After this dreadful act, Nana realizes the students might confront her for the classmate's frequent disappearance. In her attempt to avoid suspicion, she ends up killing more and more students around the school.

After poisoning the school bully Habu Kirara, Nana deceives the students by telling them a twisted version of her encounter with Yuuka and ...
... her zombie controlling ability, including the fact that she kept her boyfriend alive even after his death.

As a desperate measure to hide the evidence, Nana creates a facade about the rotting zombies and asks Kyouya, Seiya Kori, and Michiru to burn all the rotting corpses, giving them peace from this life.

Before cementing the bodies, Nana camouflages Habu's body as one of the rotting zombies, and Moguo unconsciously burns all the evidence of Nana killing Habu.

To avoid the suspicion of her next target. Nana takes advantage of a small text argument between Kaori Takanashi and Habu, where Habu took the colored contact lenses from Takanashi without her permission.

Before reaching out to Kyouya Onodera, Seiya Kori, and Michiru, Nana advances and puts her specialized poison in Takanashi contacts, making her death seem like a murder attempt from Habu, which lessens the suspicions on Nana being the real murderer.

However, Kyoya finds the situation way too awkward and confronts Nana for all the time she was outside the school. As per Kyoya, whenever someone dies at school, Nana blames humanity's enemies, and she always seems involved with the victims.

As a cherry on top, Kyoya confronts Nana as she opens the window of Kaori's apartment, which was broken from the right side, indicating that Nana has been in the apartment before. Kyoya concludes that she might have put the poison in Takanashi's color contacts before moving with the group to cremate zombies.

Kyoya winds up the events and concludes that Nana has been killing all the students at the ability school, and while she was in the group during the burning of corpses, she filled the color contacts with poison a day before. Now Nana is in a handicap situation because her plan turned against her. Kyoya forces Nana to show her pocket, which has Habu's phone, that Nana might have used to create her alibi to avoid suspicion.

A lot has happened in the 8th episode of Munou na Nana, and the upcoming episode might reveal Nana as the main culprit behind all the recent killings. As a trained assassin, Nana is facing a difficult situation. It is a matter of time before everyone finds out who Nana is and what she is doing as a non-ability user in an ability users school.
