Child Help Foundations Working For Children
The future of the nation is in your hands.
Living in compromised situations exposes the underprivileged children of India to the harsher realities of life at a very young age. With very little or no respite in terms of basic shelter, food, medical care, etc. several underprivileged children lose their right to mental, corporeal, and collective development. They end up becoming highly conducive to depression, low self-esteem, insomnia, and malnourishment, etc. Poverty is undoubtedly one of the major causes of this predicament intensified by illiteracy.
In most of the cases, children born in poverty suffer from malnutrition, diseases, sub-standard living conditions, poor hygiene, and numerous other sufferings. The child, once in the poverty trap, falls through and lives in the same vicious circle. Hence, it is imperative to break the chain of poverty that engulfs the lives of the helpless. A rise in population, low agricultural productivity, slow economic development, inflation, and unemployment, and various social and political factors, also add to this inevitable state of poverty. The government's agenda, along ...
... with the people of India, is to eradicate poverty, not only by monetary participation but by taking up personal responsibility as well.
There are countless NGOs that work to eliminate poverty, but success is met in fewer numbers, the reason being lack of public participation. The more supportive hands, the easier the task of alleviating the burden of poverty that suppresses underprivileged children. Each of us must unite for the cause and follow a realistic approach towards this concern; we need to start helping underprivileged children as a collective social responsibility. Besides individuals, large corporations can also fund and help individuals or charitable institutions who work towards the welfare of the poverty-stricken children. Children are the beginning of this poverty cycle, whose lives must be reformed to break out of its viciousness. We’re looking towards the support of the child help foundation to combat the pressing issue at hand.
Save the Children has been at the forefront ever since its launch in India in 2008. They are responsible for the reformation of over 10 million children. In 2019 they helped approximately 12 lakh children. Be it nutrition, healthcare, protection, education, and response in the time of emergencies, Save the Children has played a crucial role in the lives of the underprivileged. Registered in India as ‘Bal Raksha Bharat’, they are one of the nation’s best independent child rights NGOs.
Along with running 65 programs across 19 states in India, this child help foundation boasts of 1,73,000 individual supporters, 36 corporate and 20 institutional (national and international) partners who have helped them reach out to the most vulnerable children of the nation.
