Surrogacy is kind of reproduction through host method the surrogate becomes pregnant via embryo transfer with a child of which she is not the genetic mother. She may have made an arrangement to relinquish it to the biological mother or father to raise, or to a parent who is unrelated to the child (e. g. because the child was conceived using egg donation, sperm donation or is the result of a donated embryo). The surrogate mother may be called the gestational carrier. Surrogacy in India is getting popular day after day, this is as per the statistical information on Surrogacy.

Egg Donation is donated by women; one or several eggs for reproduction or for biomedical researches are used. This egg donation implicates the process of In Vitro fertilization (IVF) or we can say egg donation is process of third party reproduction or surrogacy.

In vitro fertilization or IVF is a method through which egg cells are fertilized by sperm outside the Womb, in vitro (Latin: within the glass) is performed in a controlled environment, such as in a test tube or Petri dish, this is performed in specialized centers called IVF Clinic India ...
... . In general IVF treatment infertility is performed when other modes of assisted reproductive technology have backfired. The method of IVF involves hormonally monitoring the ovulatory process, removing ova (eggs) from the woman's ovaries and letting sperm fertilize them in a fluid medium. The fertilized egg (zygote) is then transferred to the patient's uterus with the intent to conceive a successful pregnancy.

Egg donation is the process by which a woman provides one or several eggs (ova, oocytes) for purposes of assisted reproduction or biomedical research. For assisted reproduction purposes, egg donation involves the process of in vitro fertilization as the eggs are fertilized in the laboratory.

Every egg donor is required to go through a comprehensive medical examination of complete physical body including a pelvic exam, blood draw to check the level of hormone and to test for infectious disease, and an ultrasound to examine egg donor ovaries, uterus and other pelvic organs.

The donor will begin the donation cycle, which typically takes between three to six weeks. An egg retrieval procedure involves both the presence Egg donors cycler and recipient's cycle.Birth control pills are controlled during the first few weeks of the egg donation process to harmonize the donor's cycle with the recipient's, monitored by a series of injections which halt the normal functioning of the donor's ovaries. These injections may be self-administered on a daily basis for a period of one to three weeks. Next, follicle - stimulating hormone (FSH) are given to the donor to stimulate egg production and increases the number of mature eggs produced by the ovaries. Throughout the cycle the donor is monitored often by a doctor using blood tests and ultrasound exams to control the donor's reaction to the hormones and the progress of follicle growth.

Once after the follicles are mature, the doctor will fix up the date and time for the egg retrieval procedure. Before the retrieval the donor will injected HCG hormone for the last time to confirm that the donor's eggs are ready to be reaped. The egg retrieval itself is a minimally invasive surgical process lasting 20-30 minutes, done with light general painkilling. A small ultrasound-guided needle is inserted through the vagina to extract the follicles in both ovaries, which extracts the eggs. After resting in a recovery room for an hour or two, the donor is released. Most donors restart regular activities by the next day itself.
