Plantar fasciitis can be one of the reasons why you are limping. Heel pain can lead to many things. Most of us ignore it thinking that the pain will go away with the passage of time. But most of us forget one thing – when you avoid any physical pain that pain becomes chronic in the long run. It then becomes more difficult to get rid of the pain and to heal completely. Slowly we start to live with it. This should not be done at any cost. Your health is your asset. You should always look after it and make sure that you prioritise your body and your health.

Keep in mind that all cases of plantar fasciitis are not the same. Every body type and structure is different. As such the severity and the main cause for the heel pain varies from individual to individual. The moment you experience the heel pain you should visit a podiatrist and opt for the plantar fasciitis treatment instead of spending hundreds of pounds trying to heal the pain yourself. You should not invest on expensive insoles without visiting a podiatrist. The major reason is because these insoles ...
... offer an random level of support, that is not specific to your individual needs. They may provide a temporary relief but often do not provide a long term solution.. These insoles are like band-aids. When you know the main reason behind the heel pain it will be easier to heal it. When you visit a podiatrist you are making a move towards proper medical diagnosis. With proper plantar fasciitis treatment your pain will go away and the cure will be permanent as well.

Is there any Real Instant Cure for Plantar Fasciitis?

All those techniques that claim to offer instant cure from plantar fasciitis are misleading and simply untrue. If you want a permanent cure you have to invest time and receive proper treatment. Healing plantar fasciitis is a multifaceted method. It does not happen overnight.

What are the General Do and Don’ts for Dealing with Plantar Fasciitis?

Do: wear the right footwear or insole in order to provide the correct support to the arch. When you have plantar fasciitis it is important to have the right support to reduce stress on the plantar fascia, otherwise it becomes more difficult to heal. Don’t: go barefoot all the time, this is the worst thing that you can do for plantar fasciitis
Do: make sure to stretch the calf muscle. When the muscles are tight it is necessary to stretch the calf muscles so that they become more flexible. Increased calf muscle tightness leads to higher stress on the plantar fascia
Do: lose weight - many are not aware butt heel pain is significantly correlated by bodyweight. Meaning the heavier you are, the more likely you are to suffer with heel pain. Excess bodyweight causes increased loading on the feet. When you lose weight, this extra pressure is reduced
Don’t: spending unnecessary amounts of money on insoles and expensive orthotics without consulting the podiatrist first

Hence it is important that you opt for the correct plantar fasciitis treatment. Consult your podiatrist today and get yourself thoroughly checked. Follow all the instructions and take rest until you heal completely. Taking proper rest is very important during these times. Make sure that your pain is cured and you are all right before you decide to get back to your daily lifestyle.
