Tiny sites are created in the balding area using very fine blades and needles, after number the site with local anesthetic injections. The extracted grafts are then inserted into these tiny sites, keeping in mind what the expectations are. This procedure is monotonous and takes a few hours, but is practically painless. Moreover, the recovery is quicker since there is no cuts or stitches like that in FUT surgery. No linear scar remains on the back of the scalp in this transplantation method.
