Ways Of Imparting Educations :covid-19
Due to COVID-19 all the schools and universities were asked to remain closed by the Human Resource department. The centre and state governments both have requested the concerned authorities to adopt virtual teaching in this situation. The concept of “online teaching” has gone under many transitions in recent time. According to one of the recent studies, Online Teaching will increase gender and class divides. Rural households in India have zero network connectivity and many of the children there don’t have access to laptops or smartphones. Even in urban India, only 42% of people have access to laptops and internet facilities.
This crisis has indeed left so many children without quality education. There is no doubt that India’s future is hampered because without education and skill set nobody can work efficiently. Unlike Best school in Faridabad, vulnerable schools suffered huge losses because they don’t have many resources to adopt changes so effectively and quickly.
Students are not only delivered quality education in schools but much more than that. They experience one to one learning which ...
... affects the way they understand the concept. The biggest challenge Industry is facing at this very moment is the digital divide. Though in under areas all modern and convent schools are even conducting online parent-teacher meetings. These meetings are conducted to tell about the results and performance of their child in the ongoing online classes and online assessments.
We have tried to come up with some of the things that most of our teachers throughout the country are facing in the current situation. Let’s look into them:
Digital Divide Should Be Noticed:
There is no doubt about the potential of digital education. Digital education is the fastest and most reliable form of education, especially in this Lockdown Period. But we need to create an authentic system where everybody gets an education and not only a handful of people. Since we live in a country where most of us don’t have laptops or connectivity is an issue, Online Education cannot do a larger good. The Internet is the need of the hour and hence every one of us should have complete access to it. We need to build a well-equipped infrastructure digital system so that all the class groups in the country can have access to education. Top schools in Faridabad have access to quality online classes, assessments and extracurricular activities.
Syllabus Should Be Redesigned:
Since online teaching is not only new to students but also teachers. Both the groups are facing certain problems with the sudden change in the systems. It is not possible to teach everything online. Therefore, difficult concepts should be taught in-person and not online. Not only teachers will face a lot of trouble in teaching but students will not be able to get all of it. The complete clear understanding of that concept can only be gained when students of all the CBSE schools in Faridabad are free to ask as many questions as they want. With online teaching, academic teaching has shrunk. Mostly it is because of a shortage of time. Teachers now don’t have much time to go into the facts and figures of every concept so they just provide a summary of it. The values associated with teaching have also come into questions.
Teachers Are Not So Well Trained:
Many teachers in the country are not comfortable with the online mode of teaching because of so many reasons. They still find it difficult to teach certain concepts on screen rather than on blackboards. This certain shift from teaching to giving a digital lesson has been quick. Online Teaching has given opportunities to many teachers to change their style of teaching. Since the mode is different, the teaching style needs to be different too.
With the schools in Faridabad shut down for over more than two months now, it has taught so many new things. It has brought us together as the community. What is the importance of community teaching in one’s life has come out brightening in this whole lockdown so far? The diverse ways of educating oneself have been one of the plus points of virtual teaching.
How can we as a country high our standards of teaching in this crisis?
We as a country is democratic and independent. Therefore, we are free to choose our method of teaching and learning. Though these tough times demand patience, acceptance, and much more but the best way to tackle this massive problem is gathering the courage to solve all the problems that are arising from this system one by one.
Governments, teachers, top 10 schools in Faridabad and communities should give more importance to community teaching. One of the biggest advantages of this kind of teaching is that it will narrow down the divide or gap which is currently existing. Having said that we have to ask people to follow a certain group of actions.
Since we know that most villages in India don’t want their girl child to read and write or to play. This gender divide gets worse when the girl child forcibly gets married to a much older boy because they are not aware of the power of education. Therefore, we must make them aware that education is powerful for all the genders. Early marriage makes life worse.
One should focus on hiring local teachers who are willing to teach all the students irrespective of the genders. Teaching should not only be limited to books and notebooks but much more than that. Top rated schools in Faridabad teaches moral, social as well as environment lessons for holistic development. We should do the same. It is important to give them some free time so that they get a break from continuous lessons. They should be allowed to play various games like chess, volleyball, and many others.
All these stated things cannot be done overnight. We need strategic planning and ethical professionals to work upon these ideas. More than this going to villages and finding suitable teachers who can explain the importance of education to all the parents there is quite challenging.
