EDUCATION

Industrial Mechanic Millwrights (433A) Licence Holder
5+ (five) years of recent work experience in the trade and/or food industry
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as parts fabrication
JOB DUTIES AND TASKS

Report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
Ensure that all work is performed according to pertinent GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA and all established regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Operate hoist machinery
Inspect and examine machinery, equipment to detect, investigate irregularities and malfunctions
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance
