Are you ready for a summer of music? Whilst we may not be guaranteed several months of sunshine, we can certainly look forward to a summer filled with live music (well, providing you're able to get your hands on the tickets). The time is nigh to pack your tents and backpacks and head off to the musical fields of festival land!
This year sees Glastonbury celebrate its 40th anniversary 23rd - 27th June 2010, with U2 and Stevie Wonder headlining an absolutely amazing line-up of bands in the Somerset hills. It's still one of the biggest and regarded as one of the best festivals around and the fact they sold out of tickets before any acts were formally announced, only plays testament to this.
If you just want rock, then mosh on over to Download Festival at Donington 11th - 13th June, where you can rip it up with rocking riffs from AC/DC, Aerosmith and the one and only Slash, plus many more! Now seeing as most of the festivals are usually over a couple of days, you might want to have a wash (your mates will be grateful too, especially if you are sharing a tent with them!)
