Music is such a thing which is loved by everyone and in the past few years music has changed its way of storing and as people are opting to convert VHS to DVD and in the same way they are also converting the music storage. In the past we had big gramophone records which were really huge plates made of shellac. But they were only played on the gramophone and ran at a speed of 78 revolutions per minute and as on the player it has a heavy needle to play the record. The records were very delicate and would break easily and that is why the person has to be very careful while playing it. But comparatively these days the records are quite lighter, as when the time passed by after the gramophone era the audio cassettes tool the market and they became an instant hit. Cassettes were the things that were ruled about 3 decades from the 60s and they really stored both audio and video formats and they really was the one that were having the best music and videos till date. But with the time people expected more and they looked for better options and at the end of the 90s the evolution of CDs came in to existence.

The new age music

It ...
... is true that the music of new age are getting more safe and the people are expecting them to be safely stored and that is why 90s was the era when the CDs were introduced and it ruled for more than 20 years but compared to the cassettes that ruled in 60s, 70s and 80s. But whatever came in the market like eight track tapes, reel to reel tapes, and other compact cassette formats tried to be the best but there were something that was lacking and could not become a good sound system. But the cassettes were such a format that were weak and fragile, and demanded a high maintenance. But CDs comparatively were a better option and had a less maintenance and that is why people adopted it very quickly and CDs offered relatively good sound no matter what system it was played on as it was a completely digital medium. Not only CDs but the sound and the video format was found in DVDs also that has a wider capacity of storage and eventually the sales of those cassettes dropped and the people who had a good number of cassettes went to convert VHS to DVD as it was safer and sturdier.
