Healthcare Ngos In India Can Help Boost Health Care Services

In a country as populous as India and where more than half the population resides in rural areas, providing basic health care services in rural India is more of a challenge for the government. In the face of such a situation, a number of top NGOs in India actively take up the task and are involved in the noble cause of providing medical treatment to those sections of society that either does not have access to even the basic health care facilities or cannot pay for them. Rural healthcare is one of the most challenging tasks in India as a major portion of the country comes under this category. People don't avail of quality healthcare services due to lack of infrastructure, medical specialists, availability of medicines and other basic amenities. This has led to an increase in mortality rates in villages.
The major factors that make social welfare services inaccessible for a majority of the population are low quality of health care, a dearth of qualified medical professionals, poor accountability, lack of awareness, lack of quality infrastructure and non-access to basic medicines and medical facilities. With so many inhibiting ...
... factors, there is an urgent need for the government to promote and implement new practices and procedures that can strictly ensure that the population residing in rural areas gets access to quality as well as timely medical facilities. Moreover, because of the gaps and inconsistencies in implementing the existing programs and policies, there has arisen a need to revive and renew the existing situation prevailing with regard to healthcare NGOs in India
Though a number of charity organisations in India have come forward in recent times and have helped provide basic medical services in the villages and remote areas of India the government needs to revamp its policies and needs to work in close association with various NGOs and other organizations. Sewa Bharti Malwa is one such organization that encourages and promotes government policies for the betterment of social welfare services in India. It has spread awareness among the rural masses with regard to the importance of health and sanitation and has motivated a number of people to Donate to healthcare in India.
Sewa Bharti was founded in the year 1989. The organization has resolved to work for the welfare of the economically weaker sections of society. We mainly work between Remote Tribal Communities & Urban Slum Residents. Education, Health, Skill Development, Rural Development & Communal Harmony are the main areas of work.
