6 Easy Steps: Apply Matte Liquid Lipstick Flawlessly

Liquid lipsticks have been very favourable for a while now, and there is a good reason for that. If you are like me and you need your dose of caffeine every day (if not several times a day), you know how painful it is to touch up the colour of your lips.

Despite using lip liner, smudges, using facial powders and almost any other technique that YouTube's beauty gurus had taught me, my cup of coffee still ended with more lipstick than my lips, I sigh.

4. Finally, small strokes to apply liquid lipstick.
Be sure to use shorter strokes and go from filling the top and bottom of your lips to the ends. If you are covering too much to make your lips look bigger, be sure to do so with an emphasis on the centre of the upper and lower lips, and not at the corners of the lips.

If you're wrong, concealer is your best friend.
You don't have to be an amateur to spoil your lipstick. Countless beauty gurus have admitted that this is their next step. There is always a slight rise or fall when it comes to applying liquid lipstick and there is no shame in that.
The beauty of makeup is that there is almost nothing you can't fix, especially with a good concealer.

6. A hint of highlight in the centre
There's not much to highlight. I repeat. NO highlighter I too highlighter. Apply a little on the centre of your lips and see how they dazzle.

Do not be afraid to mix and match colours and try different colour combinations. Despite its longevity in terms of time, liquid lipsticks are essentially lipsticks and you can combine colours with different blends until you are satisfied with the result.
