The animation is one of the thriving career options. There are 3d animation classes across the world training animation enthusiasts. Some of the best 3d animation courses in Pune. Animation has leapt from the paper-pencil to digital. But, the basics are the same. There are 12 principals of animation. We have listed the major ones here for beginners.

1st Principle-squash and stretch:The squash and stretch principle creates an illusion of motion. Take the example of a bouncing ball. To show a ball bouncing in animation, the bottom of the ball is drawn flat at the lower side of the bounce. It is stretched further in subsequent images as it leaves the ground until it reaches its actual shape. This principle is also used to create characters in motion.

2nd principle -staging: staging: Staging brings out the mood,
attitude, and personality of the character. It points to the location of the action and covers the entire story in the frame.

3rd principle- Anticipation: Anticipation principle talks about the action performed by a character. ...
... Every action performed has a build-up to the final act. This build-up cue is known as anticipation. The animator prepares his audience for the big action with a mix of realism to the animation. The longer the anticipation wait of the character, the larger the action.

4th principle-pose to pose and straight head action: These are two different techniques in animation. Pose to pose goes well in creating images for emotional and dramatic scenes. The animator complete fleshed animation images on each frame and poses at the start of the work. The animator then fills the frames between poses. This principle gives better proposition, volume and size control of the animation created. In straight-ahead animation, each frame is arranged and drawn in sequence. Each frame is blended and it works from start to finish. It is often used to create fast-paced action scenes.

5th principle-timing: Timing is about depicting the right emotion and personality of a character. It is a major aspect of animation and is one of the major tools used to represent body parts through flat images.
6th principle-slow in and slow out movement: In the real world, every moving object has momentum. An object starts at a slower pace at the start and increases its speed and slows down as it comes to a halt. The animation uses this principle in creating images in action.

7th principle-secondary and follow through and overlap action: Any other action from the main action is a secondary action in animation. For example, walking or swimming becomes the main action. Swing hands while walking and hand movements in swimming is a secondary action. In following through, some parts of the body will still be in motion even after the character comes to a halt. In overlap, different body parts will move at different times.

3d animation classes in Pune touch base with these major principles of animation. The leading training
animation course in Pune abreast the students with these animation principles. Irrespective of the technology change the basic principals remain the same. These are the foundation blocks of animation.
