It is very easy to install fence in your compound. All you need is some tools, supplies and the objective of installing fence. For instance, you should be knowing about the purpose of the fencing in your Whyalla property, the style you like and whether it is going to satisfy your purpose, the costing of the entire work, installation procedure – whether it requires expert installation or can be undertaken personally etc. Before starting to work on the installation, one should know the boundary of the property as it should not cross the line and encroach on other’s land.

Tools required

There are some basic tools that are required in the process. You should be laden with post hole digger, shovel, measuring tape, circuit board, bowl for mixing cement, level to balance the post, industrial gloves and safety goggles. You can also keep a wrench handy in case you need to screw nuts and bolts.

Materials required

You will be needing nominal materials to undertake ...
... the work. Of course you will be needing the pickets which are available easily in market. You can also shape and cut the posts if you are good at carpenter work and own all the tools. If not, it is better to rely on the market produced and not take a risk. Along with the post you will be needing the nuts, bolts and other fittings to secure the structure. You should also have cement in appropriate quantity. Depending on how big is your area, the quantity of cement is determined. Paint of desired colour is required that is to be applied later after finishing erecting the fence.

When it comes to the material to be used, the options are huge. You can select from chain links, wood, wrought iron, aluminium or PVC. All these have separate functionalities to perform and one should understand them well before finalising. For instance if you are looking forward to restrict the movement of your pet, the light weight PVC is not going to be fruitful. To demarcate the boundary of your land the wired ones will do which also doesn’t restrict the air flow. If you want to keep the nosey neighbour out of your land the high wooden fence is appropriate. Hence, you should look into the factors for which you are putting up the barricade.

Installation procedure

The first work is to dig the hole in the ground. This is laborious and tiresome but you should be dedicated when digging holes. These should be deep to hold the post even in harsh weather and situations. For example, a foot hole is required for a post to be stable and survive all blows. The end post should be fixed first before fixing the sub posts. After installing the posts, it is time to install the entry gate and it should match with the fencing in your Whyalla property. It is better to write down all the measurements in a piece of paper as you can forget or mix up everything.
