You click a lot of pictures with your iPhone and DSLRs and Mac can help you in keeping your photos in one place and also organizes it. Read through the article and learn everything you need to know about managing libraries and albums on Mac.
How to add videos and photos to albums
Add pictures on your Mac.
Tap on photographs in the sidebar below the library section.
Select the pictures you want to add to the album
Press down the key command on your device and select two or more pictures at a time.
Press right-click on the selected videos and photographs.
Then go to the Add to option.
You can create a new album or select the existing album.
How to organize folders and albums
Add pictures on your Mac.
Click right on the My Albums options in the sidebar or go on the top and tap on the + button that shows next to My Albums.
Tap the New Folder option.
Add your folder name.
Select the albums you want to drag in your folder.
How to use smart albums
Add pictures on your device.
Click right on My Albums in the sidebar or go above ...
... and click on the + button that shows next to My Albums.
Click on New Smart Album.
Add a name to your Smart Album.
Select the parameters for the Smart Album.
Press OK to confirm.

Add pictures on your device.
Tap on view in the menu bar.
Tap on the sidebar in the menu bar.

Add pictures on your device.

Tap on moments, years, collections, pictures options on the above of the window.
Tap on a year to move it to that collection.

A single tap will select an item while double-tapping will help in viewing it.
