Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It often causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples, and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.
Having to deal with active acne can be a stressful time for anyone. Although a widespread occurrence in pubescent teenagers, acne can even be found in adults as well. Battling with acne can be tough. Aside from the stress in finding the correct treatments for your acne, the effects it has on our confidence are massive. We don't want anyone to have to go through having acne, so here are a few ways to improve the appearance of acne and even prevent it from forming in the first place.
