Mechanical job is a good stream of engineering. Be it HVAC systems, manufacturing plants, industrial set up, robotics, air craft, medical equipments and machinery, water crafts etc requires a mechanical engineer to design and fix the machinery. Installation of these devices, helping understand the dynamics of its working and fixing up problems is part of their profile. They are also involved in analysing the different materials used for the machines and their tolerances, investigate the different energy sources and the power they generate and the design problems if any.

In industrial set up, huge machinery requires in house engineers to be present at the factory round the clock in order to ensure proper functioning of the machinery. Default machinery can be risky and can claim lives of several employees. They are also needed to fix the problems of the forklifts, trailers which are used to load and unload merchandise to elevated platforms and scaffoldings. Mechanical engineering is concerned with all types of machinery in industries and all aspects of their mechanism and functioning; the design, development, construction, production, installation, operation and maintenance; such as large steam and gas turbines, components of thermal power stations, internal combustion engines, jet engines, machine tools, air conditioning and heating machines, refrigerators etc to name a few.
