Origin Of Oak Tree
Oak is a hard wood tree that produces acorn and growing shrubs. It has spikes (female flower) and catkins (male flower) in one tree to produce flower. In scientific classification, oak is in plantae kingdom; magnoliophyta phylum; include in magnoliopsida class; set as fagales order; a member of fagaceae or beech family; and part of quercus genus. Oak tree has simple lobed leaves. In details, white oak has smooth leaves; and red oak has end-of hard hair. Acorn as fruit of oak tree has different features based on the type of the oak. White oak made sweet acorn; and red oak produce hairy bitter acorn. These acorns are poisonous for some animal like horse, cow or pig because they have dangerous tannic acid that can damage those animals kidney. This open pored made an easy access for bugs, germs and fungus to live inside the wood, so red oak isn't good to use for outdoor oak furniture. White oak mostly used by Englishman craftsmen. Its species is English native oak, which are classic American oaks.
