Sailing is a fun and exciting hobby that can be done at Boston's waterways. The Boston marina has a lot of shops where one can rent sailboats and even enroll in sailing lessons. It is an adventure anybody can do, both for kids and adults.

There is a non-profit facility called Community Boating in Boston where one can have sailing opportunities and even hands-on lessons. The company was established way back in 1936 and is considered as the largest and oldest public sailing program in the United States of America. They have a Junior Program open for kids ages 10 to 18. Summer membership for this program is amazingly cheap with a price tag of one dollar only. There are beginners and advanced lessons not only for sailing but for windsurfing and kayaking as well.

The membership for adults is quite affordable also. For those wanting unlimited access to boats and sailing lessons from the months of April until October, go for the full membership deal. There are also short-term options here that anyone can avail of.
