Go Pro cameras are unique in that they allow you to get up-close footage of some of your most exciting sports and activities without having to worry about getting someone to hold and aim a camera (which is not only highly boring for the person designated as camera man, but also results in a worse view of the action held shakily at the best of times and from a fair distance from the sport itself so as not to get in the way).
