Making A Great Sampler

If you've ever been a fan of either parkour or extreme martial arts then you'll have heard of the term 'sampler'. However the term is also relevant to a range of other sporting activities and particularly the more visually visceral activities such as skateboarding, jet skiing or rock climbing and particularly those which have very visual displays of skill and dexterity. Essentially a sampler is a video that consists of many clips of an individual performing their chosen sport of activity and generally performing their more incredible feats of skill or performance. For example, a bodybuilder might film themselves squatting huge amounts, doing hand balancing displays, flexing and crushing apples or tearing up phone books. Meanwhile a skateboarder might film themselves doing ollies, building up high speeds, grinding down railings, jumping down stairs or doing tricks on a half pipe. If you're a free runner for example you can keep it filming every time you go out running, or if you're a rally driver you can film yourself during every race or practice run.
