What Is An Interior Design Course All About?
The art and science of understanding an individual’s behavior for creating functional spaces within a building is known as interior designing. The decoration is the furnishing or adorning of a space with fashionable or beautiful things. Interior designers may decorate, but a decorator will not design. An interior designer will work towards creating aesthetically pleasing environments for the people using the space. As a profession interior designing has gained huge popularity in India. This profession has allowed an individual to express their creativity through different pieces of work. This field deals with design and decoration of rooms, buildings and built environment in general. It also focuses on design and decoration of exteriors, buildings and create aesthetically pleasing environments.

1. Search and bid on new projects.
2. Determine the client’s goal and the requirements for the project.
3. Consider how the space is going to be used and how the people will move through the space
4. Sketch preliminary design plans which include electrical and partition layouts
5. Specify the materials and furnishings like lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures.
6. Create a timeline for interior design project and estimate project costs.
7. Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of design elements.
8. Oversee construction and coordinate with general building contractors for implementing the plans and specifications for the project.
9. Visit the site after project is complete for ensuring that a client is satisfied.
