How Easter Umrah Packages Give Uk Muslims More Savings
The Islamic pilgrimages of Hajj and Umrah are greatly revered by the Muslims as they offer great spiritual benefits to the pilgrim performing them. While the Hajj is among Islam's five pillars and an obligation for all the Muslims who are physically and financially capable for the pilgrimage, Umrah has no such obligation. It is known as the 'lesser pilgrimage' and can be performed at any time during the year by Muslims who are in a good physical and financial condition to undertake the journey to Makkah. As it involves a lesser number of rituals compared to Hajj, it can be performed within a few hours.
An Umrah in Easter is sought by numerous Muslims living in the United Kingdom to make their journey to Saudi Arabia to perform their Umrah. The long weekend that everyone in the country gets during this time of the year owing to the offices and educational institutions being closed can be utilised for visiting Makkah along with other members of the family. Many of the tour operators and travel companies in the country offer packages for ...

For most of the UK Muslims, the journey from their homes to the holy city of Makkah involves a significant amount of cost. They can reduce the overall cost involved in the journey by booking any of the Easter Umrah packages several months in advance. Upon booking a package well in advance, they would have greater savings that can be utilised during their time spent in the holy city after performing Umrah. They can use their savings for buying attractive souvenirs from the local markets or visiting the most famous Islamic sites in and around Makkah.
The savings on packages for Umrah Easter month brings for UK Muslims can also be utilised to visit Jabal al-Noor, which is a mountain in the Hejazi region near Makkah. The name literally translates as 'Hill of Illumination' or 'Mountain of Light'. It is of great significance among Muslims around the world, as it is home to the Cave of Hira. This cave is the place where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had received the first five ayats of Surah Al-Alaq from the Holy Quran. Visitors have to ascend many steps to reach this cave, as it is situated at a height of about 270 metres. During the Hajj season, the cave gets about 5,000 visitors on a daily basis.
Pilgrims from the UK can also explore Jabal al-Rahmah during their time in Makkah after performing their Umrah. The name of this mountain means 'Mountain of Mercy', which refers to the event when the first prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was forgiven by The Almighty Allah for his sin after falling from heaven. In recent times, a pillar has been erected at the place where this event is believed to have taken place.
