Despite the very low price, the Motorola Moto g7 Plus is an incredible phone. It costs only £269 ($350) and is perfect for all users except the most power-hungry users. More importantly, the g7 Plus looks like a phone that is almost twice the price, with a large, bright display, a compact bezel and a small recess. Unfortunately, it can be used in the UK, Australia, India, most European and Latin American countries - but not the US.

Advantage

• Surprisingly good value
• Good camera
• Beautiful screen
• Headphone jack and expandable storage
• Lightweight Android skin

Motorola's G-series phones have long been known for their overweight punching, with attractive design, good components and low price tags. However, with the new g7 series, Motorola has once again successfully achieved its goals.

The g7 Plus is the most expensive model in the series, but not many. Either way, for just £269, it's still very cheap.

The low-end market in the Android market is becoming more competitive and attractive to consumers. Brands ranging from Samsung to Nokia are making impressively ...
... cheap options, which means the competition for g7 Plus is fierce.

Moto g7 Plus display - how good is its Screen?

With a compact bezel, rounded corners and small teardrop grooves, the Moto g7 Plus' display looks better than any typical phone that is less than £300.

Even better, the display matches the advanced design. The Moto g7 Plus uses a 6.2-inch Full HD + (2270 x 1080) LCD display. Finding a full HD+ monitor on your phone is a welcome surprise.

Thanks to this large and sharp display, the g7 Plus is one of the best budget phones for streaming content and playing games.

More importantly, the g7 Plus' display is very bright for the LCD display, which means you should not be caught in the sun. Again, this makes the price of the g7 Plus much higher than its £269 price.

How good is the Moto g7 Plus Camera?

The g7 Plus once again broke the trend of cheap phones with its dual rear camera. You'll get a 16Mp lens that takes most of the shots and a 5Mp depth sensor for better portraits.

These cameras produce impressive shots with strong contrast and striking detail levels. The lens sometimes looks a bit too saturated, but it's more of an accidental problem than a constant flaw. The lens may also look busy, but this happens mainly when similar colors are close.

However, while the regular lens is impressive and helps the g7 Plus to surpass its price tag, the phone may experience more advanced camera features on Android. This may be due to the low-end processor (slightly a little more).

Portrait mode shots are very good, but spot color photos - allow you to choose a color while making the rest of the photo black and white - usually not working as expected.

The front camera uses a 12Mp lens and the shooting is very good. It provides good detail, although the color looks significantly softer than the rear camera.

How fast is the Moto g7 Plus?

If the g7 Plus starts to sound incredibly good, then you are right. Motorola must save costs somewhere, one of which is the processor.
You got a Snapdragon 636 chip in g7 Plus, it's not the fastest. This is great for everyday tasks, but if you switch quickly between applications, you will feel a slight tremor.

The 636 clearly struggles with demanding mobile games. When we tried to use Real Racing 3 and PUBG Mobile, we were forced to enter the lowest graphics settings and there were a lot of significant frame rate drops.

How long does the battery of the Moto g7 Plus last?

The Moto g7 Plus uses a 3000 mAh battery, which is not very large, but it is certainly enough to get about a day and a half.

This is mainly due to the slower processor, which is less demanding than other devices on the market, and means you can extend the usage time.

Play a lightweight game, use a social media app, and send a text and make a typical combination of calls should give you about a day's worth of power before you reach the charger. This is nothing remarkable, but it is definitely good enough.

When you get to the charger, you will be pleasantly surprised to see how fast the g7 Plus can charge. Using its 27-watt USB-C TurboCharger, g7 Plus.

What is the price of Moto g7 Plus?

The g7 Plus starts at £269 in the UK. This is an amazing value for this phone.

However, there are three other phones in the g7 series :

Moto g7 Play - Ideal for wallets, priced at £149 ($199), but retains quality design
Moto g7 - middle road model; like Plus, but equipped with a rear camera. The fee is £239 ($299).

Moto g7 Power - Battery with a huge battery of 5000 mAh - it just refuses to die. The fee is £179 ($249).

In terms of cheap phones, g7 Plus competes with other companies, including Nokia and Samsung. However, if we are honest, we may choose g7 Plus instead of competitors. Its quality design, lightweight Android skin and impressive camera make it the winner of our books.

Is the Moto g7 Plus carefully crafted?

Another criticism of cheap phones is that they lack the build quality of more expensive options.

The g7 Plus may not be as integrated as some phones - the volume rocker has a noticeable play and a slight vacancy when clicking on the back or front panel of the curved glass.

However, the metal strip that connects the two glass sheets is reassuringly strong. And, more importantly, curved glass is a truly enjoyable move. It sinks into your hand, but the glass remains tacky even on a slightly sloping surface. If you don't sell with g7 Plus's survivability, Motorola offers you a free lightweight phone case, which is a good touch.

Moto g7 Plus – Judgment

The Moto g7 Plus is currently one of the best-selling premium phones. It is rugged, with an impressive display and an excellent camera, costing less than £300.

It's not the fastest cell phone in the world, but it doesn't mean it. If you want to take a photo on a mobile phone, browse social media apps, play music and lightweight games - and don't want to spend a lot of money - then get g7 Plus. You won't regret it.
