About Satavahana University:

SATU (Satavahana University) is a public university established in Karimnagar, Telangana. SATU was erstwhile known as Post Graduate Centre of Osmania and Kakatiya Universities. In the months of June 2008, the PG centre has been upgraded as SATU. The University currently provides all main courses of Oriental Languages, Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Arts and Social Sciences. The University provides many of its Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional Programs through two of its Colleges called University College and University PG College, one situated in Karimnagar Town and the other at Godavarikani.

Satavahana University Admission 2019

Satavahana University is situated in Telangana. It was founded in the year 2008. It is named after the great dynasty of the Satvahanas who ruled the region. The University aims at bringing an equilibrium between quality teaching and value-based teaching. It gives a lot of attention to the social empowerment of all its aspirant and thus has played a main role in shaping the current status of the areas surrounding the University. With a rich base of faculty and courses, the University has carved an identity for itself in short span of time.

Satavahana University offered different courses under PG Programmes. It offered courses like M.A. (Telugu, English, Urdu, Economics and Sociology), M.Sc (Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Zoology, Micro Biology, Food Science & Technology and Mathematics), M.Com., M.S.W., M.B.A. and M.C.A. The University is affiliated to UGC and spreads across 200 acres of land.
