A regular user of MS Word can only know the importance of a .doc or .docx file. A word document can be a brochure, letter, resume, certificates, etc. Any one of these documents can be very important for the one who has created it. And if the document gets corrupt then you can imagine that how dreadful it will be for the one who has created the documents with so many efforts. Obviously, recollecting the information embedded in the document is not an easy task. So, what a user can do after the word document is damaged. Follow the below given steps to use a third-party tool for repairing the damaged document:
1.Download the software.
2.Install and launch the software.
3.Browse the location of damaged Word file. Now, lets the software do its work. During the repairing process, the software scans the corrupt file and recovers all data while maintaining the document's structure, embedded links, shapes, etc.
4.After the software have repaired the file, save the file at a destined location.

Now, you can access the repaired file with the supported version of MS Word. For example, if the file is in .doc format then it can be easily accessed with any version of MS Word but if the file is in .docx then use MS Word 2007 to access the file.
